As she was interviewed, she explained that cosmetic color contacts are one of the
cheap ways to enhance an outer appearance. She was only able to pay $25 and
further said that she was all the more attracted because it was worn by a lot of
other teenagers. The color contacts were very convenient to buy because they can be
acquired even in gasoline stations.

According to executive director of Contact Lens Institute, Ed Schilling, non prescription color contact lenses have been easily put on sale by retailers. Online, there are even countless websites that sell them without any prescription.
Dr. James Saviola from the American Food and Drug Administration said that the selling of non prescription cosmetic colored contacts has to be stopped as soon as possible because there can be more potential victims.
